As first reported by the Wall Street Journal Volkswagen has indeed agreed to settle claims related to its diesel emissions cheating scandal in the US.

A new survey of UK companies suggests that 25% intend to freeze recruitment in the wake of the Brexit vote while two thirds believe it is bad for their business, the BBC reports.
