The Big Brand Report 2016

Companies talk a good game when it comes to sustainability but how well do they communicate and market the issues to consumers?

Our annual Big Brand Report looks at how 165 brands belonging to 15 of the world's biggest FMCGs use Facebook to talk about healthy food, wellness, climate change, sustainable sourcing, self-esteem, LGBT, recycling and other sustainability issues.

The research also looks at the sustainability issues and concerns that fans post on brands' Facebook pages and we highlight 10 best practice examples of how brands connect with fans using social media.

The 165 brands we considered are owned by the following companies.

  • ABF
  • ABInBev
  • Coca-Cola
  • Danone
  • Diageo
  • General Mills
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • Kimberly-Clark
