Sprint Corporation

Sprint Corporation, commonly referred to as Sprint, is an American telecommunications holding company that provides wireless services and is also a major global Internet carrier. It is the third largest U.S. wireless network operator as of 2014, and served 54.8 million customers at the end of the third quarter of 2014. In addition to the Sprint brand, the company also operates through  subsidiaries under the Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, and Assurance Wireless brands. The company is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. Sprint traces its origins to the Brown Telephone Company, which was founded in 1899. Today its revenue is around $35 billion, and its workforce totals approximately 38,000.
