Part of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the company can trace its roots back to 1911 when it was founded as the Kwaishinsha Motor Car Works. Now Nissan is the world’s sixth largest automobile manufacturer, with an employee base of around 160,000 employees and a production output in excess of 5 million in 2014.
