Ford Motor Company

The Ford Motor Company, known as Ford, is an American multinational auto manufacturer, with its headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. It was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated in 1903. Ford pioneered methods for large-scale manufacturing of cars and large-scale management of an industrial workforce, including moving assembly lines. In 2013 its revenues were more than $146 billion, and it employed 181,000 people.
