Exxon Mobil Corp.

Exxon Mobil Corp., or ExxonMobil, is an American multinational oil and gas corporation headquartered in Irving, Texas. It can trace direct ancestry to  John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil company,   which was formed in 1870. It was created from the merger of Exxon and Mobil (formerly Standard Oil of New Jersey and Standard Oil of New York) in 1999. Today it employs around 75,000 people and has revenue of more than $420 billion.
