Tesco Plc is British-based multinational grocery and general merchandise retailer. It is the world's second largest retailer when measured by revenue. Tesco was founded in 1919. Tesco is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a FTSE 100 company.


Walmart is an American multinational retail corporation which operates chains of large discount department stores and warehouse stores. Headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, the company was founded by Sam Walton in 1962 and incorporated in  1969.

Whole Foods Market Inc. is an American foods supermarket chain, headquartered in Austin, Texas, and specializing in natural and organic foods. Its first store opened in 1980 in Austin, and it now has more than 400 stores - most in the US, but also 10 in Canada, and 9 in the UK.
